John Miglietta (G) Congress 2010
U.S. Congress Tennessee District 5, Middle Tennessee, Nashville

JOHN P. MIGLIETTA

Why John is a Candidate for Congress:
John Miglietta is the grandson of Italian immigrants and grew up in a culturally diverse neighborhood in Queens, New York. Early in his career John moved around a lot but is now happy to be permanently settled in Nashville. Before moving to Tennessee in 1999, John's experiences living in a small town in Pennsylvania let him see for himself the hardships facing communities that have lost their core industries. While living in Newark, N.J. and New York City, John saw the amenities that big city living could offer but also the social, economic, and environmental problems that large urban communities often face. John now wants to use his observations and insights to help the people of Middle Tennessee's Fifth Congressional District make their communities better places to live and work.
